Cleanse nails from grease and dirt. It’s important to have a clean nail surface so that the adhesive underneath the sticker adheres better to the nail. Gently push back the cuticles to ensure the stickers are placed as close to the nail bed as possible.

To place the sticker on the nail, start by measuring the appropriate size of the nail polish sticker. If you’re unsure between two sizes, always choose the smaller one. It’s important that the sticker adheres only to the nail, not the cuticles. If desired, you can trim the sticker with scissors.

Remove the protective film from the sticker.

Remove the sticker from the backing.

Place the sticker on the nail and press firmly to cover the entire nail surface. Press the sticker onto the nail throughout its entire length, ensuring that it is properly adhered.

Trim any excess sticker as close to the nail as possible using scissors. File the remaining sticker with long, even strokes in the same direction. Optionally, apply a clear topcoat to the nails to make the Stikily nail polish sticker even more durable.

Avoid water exposure for 2 hours after application. It’s fine to wash your hands, but it’s best to wait before doing the dishes. 😉 

To remove nail polish stickers

To remove the nail polish sticker with nail or cooking oil,

  1. Prepare a bowl of warm water.
  2. Add a small amount of oil, such as nail oil or cooking oil, to the water.
  3. Soak your nails in the mixture for approximately 5-10 minutes.
  4. Use a wooden stick to gently push away the sticker from the nail surface.
  5. Rinse your hands with water to remove any remaining oil or residue.

Additional tips:

  • Remove the stickers after taking a shower or sauna. The heat will soften the adhesive and make the removal process easier.
  • Allow the oil to moisturize the nails for a while and avoid immediately applying new stickers. Let your nails breathe overnight and apply new stickers in the morning.
  • Before applying new stickers, make sure to wash your hands to remove any oil or residue. This ensures a secure adhesion of the sticker to the nail.
NOTE: Do not simply pull the nail polish sticker off the nail, as it can damage the nail surface.

TRICKS

  • For shorter nails, you can cut the nail polish sticker in half, allowing you to use the stickers twice.
  • Gently push back your cuticles to place the nail stickers as close to the nail bed as possible.
  • If needed, you can trim the nail polish stickers with scissors to perfectly fit your nails.
  • Start applying the stickers from the pinky finger and move towards the thumb.
  • Avoid water contact for 2 hours after application. Hand washing is okay, but it's best to wait before doing dishes 😉
